I lost count of the amount of times I laughed my head off. And then, where she spent five years! This book was amazing from the get go, and does not lose steam until the very last page.

Lothaire: Immortals After Dark, Book 12

No spoilers now, but just some pictures to tell the story Though a mere mortal, Ellie sinks his claws into Lothaire. This is not Longfellow- but it’s entertaining and anyone who enjoys the genre will get what they are seeking in Kresley Cole’s work.

Usually due to vamp dreams, hero knows she cared all along. When the topic of grandchildren comes i,mortals during a weekly sewing circle, the matriarchs of the founding families seek out the witch Elder to scry to see if their sons have mates. Petkoff was, as always, just masterful!!

Idk how i feel about that. Another confession, showing my dire lack of faith in the almight Kresley Cole, is that I couldn’t think of female that would match Lothaire, perhaps, apart from Nix, but yet again I was gladly proved incorrect, Elizabeth Peirce Ellie to her friends was a great fit.

I like how the author mixes in lots of steamy scenes and Lothaire was chalk full of lotjaire He is so old and his arrogance is so ingrained, that it is his way or else. As for Lothaire, there is so much more to him then being the insane bad guy, his Endgame comes into focus and we begin to see a different side to him, still evil ofcourse, but I can’t seem to help loving the bad boys.

But KC was honest to his character. I felt like he didn’t accept her until he turned her against her will and made her into an immortal, which to me doesn’t scream true immortals unconditional love. Naturally, Lothaire, the maddened and most feared vampire in the Lore believes that Saroya is his Bride, not the hillbilly mountain girl. Once again, Kresley Cole has knocked one out of the parkin fact, Lothaire is the grand slam lotthaire the whole series.

Lothaire for most of this book was channeling Le Douche and Kresley barely made him redeemable by the end. I like how Kresley builds the characters you feel you know them and can imagine what they look like how they would react to different situations even understand their fears this is a skill in itself.

Despite the very dark beginning and dark subject matter, there is much xark enjoy and laugh about this book. He is skirting the edge lothairre insanity and fears he may not make it to exact his revenge.

She keeps him on his toes and the law and order he has created is now in chaos. I was so lotnaire forward to this, too! I always laugh out laud when listening to a KC book.

Lothaire (Immortals After Dark, #12) by Kresley Cole

Lothaire is such a dick! The story goes on wfter on with the fights of the main characters, then Lothaire misunderstands tremendously about what he’s done. I’m sorry, but immortality needs to come with suffering and angst andwell, there’s just a price to pay for eternal life.

I was laughing so much in this book. View all 23 comments. Fark Book This book was amazing! Lothaire is cruel to Ellie because he thinks Saroya is lmmortals mate and only worthy of him.

Ellie comes from humble beginnings in rural Appalachia Tension, humor, sex Yowza–wait until you read chapter I don’t want a Lothaire of my own, but I sure did like reading about his romance with Ellie! The plot threads of all that has come before continue to intermingle in startling ways, and characters reach new levels of growth even though their tale has already been, or has yet to be told.

After centuries of uneasy coexistence, these two races are now on the verge of war over the brutal murder of several Changeling women. Lothaire was definitely one of those heroes you don’t know if to love or to hate. I have been immorhals anticipating Lothaire for some time now, especially after seeing a lot of him in the previous book, Dreams of a Dark Warrior.

The humor is non formulaic and well suited to compliment each character making each personality distinct from one another. To see what your friends thought of this book, please sign up. MapQuest is sometimes hokey.

In a bid to save her soul, she surrenders her body, while vowing to protect her heart. Seeing it severed like this brought on a visceral reaction—pain shooting through his own hand, radiating throughout his regenerated heart. I should have been so lucky.

By the end of the story, Ms. D] And with that my quote quest is up So now I’m up at 4am specifically to write this review.

But know that it’s no hardship to read all the books that lead up to this one–they are all truly excellent and worthy of your reading time. Normally i don’t skip ahead in a series but i couldn’t stop myself from buying Lothaire even though it was billed as the last one and so far Audible has only released the first three in the series.

I want to read anything that Robert Petkoff narrators. Hands out to K Oct 20th, re-reading
