This novel was a confusing lw of a woman living her life as signular man during a time when woman were not able to find a job to provide them with a suitable wage.


I think I liked the cover better than the book. I was surprised to find that the movie differed from the book in several respects. I just found it a little difficult to read and a little formal for my taste. It’s a long short story or a short novella,so it’s a quick read.
