A few pieces of bleak humor that made me laugh out loud Through his use of words and imagery, Pekar’s opinion became one of the most respected and influential in the city. Nonetheless, this was an enjoyable book, both about Cleveland and about Pekar underscoring many of things about his life we’ve read before. I am not sure what I might have done without the type of concepts discussed by you relating to such problem.
The book is a fabulous kaleidoscope of people, places and things, but never loses sight of its primary objective: Harvey has always felt like a weird uncle to me, totally inappropriate at times, wildly brilliant at others – but over all, a powerhouse of k I’m a sucker for all things Pekar and for all things Cleveland, thus five stars is the obvious rating.
