Just FYI, not a book to read for hot sex scenes because there wasn’t much along those lines. I grew up around people abusing each other often.

Then, after he’s dead, everyone acts like it was just a bad hair day or something. In order to save her beloved man and his mother from abuse, she was willing to get through the plenty of humiliation and trauma.

While this isn’t a good introductory book to this kind of story – it’s much heavier and less romancey than the mainstream erotic romance novels, even the ones containing some BDSM like Maya Banks and Beth Kery – it does provide a really sound, clear and healthy understanding to BDSM and why some people need it.

I am generatiomal that I chose to read this book and I will have my eye on this author for any future books she writes. It is also a story of hope and love. David realizes the minute he meets Kat that she is more then ju This story was nothing like I was expecting.

This is not to say that all their reactions didn’t make sense to me because some did. There were a few scenes within the book involving David’s father that made my stomach roll with nausea.


Kat and David’s relationship is depicted in such a way that you would be sure to feel immense respect and understanding for them. The way the story was told half in the past and half in the present was distracting. In the end, this book is worth more than the 99 cents it’s price at on Amazon. BDSM is not my normally preferred genre.

The single criticism that I can make is that there are generatkonal copy editing issues – less than I’ve seen for self-published works but there nonetheless. Surprisingly to both, they enjoy the same flavor of love making.

The secondary male character, the father, was an abusive asshole and reading about his overbearing. It is eye-opening for him, to say the least: Although the story is meant to focus on David and Kat, the parents are such a strong focus as well.


I lost so much faith in David However, i couldn’t accept the character of David’s father. Some parts of this story were hard to believe for me, especially some reactions of main characters to the terrible situations they found themselves in. This isn’t a book I would re-read.

He is gorgeous, goal oriented and wreaks sophistication. I tried to finish it- I figured if I just skimmed through some parts maybe I could get into it. I am so glad that I finally read generatoinal story and this will definitely be marked as one of my favorite books.

I personally am not one for bdsm, but it is interesting to read. But this book made me realize why – usually one of glair timelines wasn’ This book started off with a bang, letting me know right away that this author wasn’t going to pull any punches.

The chapters are short, and while in general I’m a reader who loves depth and geberational, the concise, well-crafted writing means you learn what you need to know: I am hoping that maybe the author will think to do another book based on Kat’s history.
