Thanks for the input! Only few t22 old or so I know and you probably do as well that the EV wedges as eg have them can get pretty loud but there is not really any comparison in pro use for rock bands with a bi amped wedge.

wv If you’re looking for something a little lighter than those big wooden cabinets, I personally feel that the Zx5 is the best sounding MI-level speaker that EV is producing e now, while the QRx is still their best sounding upper MI-level sub. Get these mutts away from me. A nice clean stick hit and full round bottom end. Not a flaw on them. I am also using the FM wedges, and I agree that while they are a decent sounding box, they do not make the cut in a national act rider. This PA system is in excellent condition, no scratches, dings or damages. The last guy in there had home made wedges with peavey 15’s and 22xt’s. Hi, im a collector who is looking to buy many brands eg vintage home speakers, big and small, working or not, any Either way, I was definitely planning on biamping the tops.
The cabinets that I’ve heard in the past, both mackie and eaw, were really clean, but didn’t make the drums sound very thunderous.
Used for house use Personally, if you’re willing to biamp your mains, I would take a look at the QRx They also were used many more times a year for other things and made many different types of shows for them easier because of being a powered box.
So, maybe with good power and wedges with a good crossover and drivers you might get by without biamping the monitors. Designated trademarks and brands are the property of their respective owners.
