Not only the two main characters are complex and interesting, the book is also full of funny and various supporting characters, don’t get me start with Rory’s grandparents, or the various police officers, even the evil men have their “positive” side.
Yamane was so honest and at ease with himself and physically he was terribly appealing. Amelia is now on the hunt for both their arses.

What an awesome surprise! People come to him with teddy bears and chocolates and disappointment by the truckload. I found myself liking Ran more than I did Rory because I didn’t really understand where Rory’s head was at in this book.

He’s loved her since junior high school, and now he has the chance to meet her. Lists with This Book. It’s a fun romance novel, and doesn’t take itself too seriously. Certainly not what z.a.maxfiepd expected. I loved Drawn together so much.
Maxfield and I will definitly continue reading her books while trying to forget about this one! I gave it pages and quit. And Yamane is rogether guy and not a girl.
I don’t know if Yamane is worried since Rory is too young, too straight, a bit of both The Long Way Home. I really loved both Rory and Yamane.

People who bought this also bought This is a total OFY, which isn’t a trope I would go out of my way to read, but I tend to be drawn to drwan with artist again and again, and this was a pleasant surprise. This book is seriously cute.
And then later on I actually yelled at the story when someone stepped in and, in my opinion, needlessly hindered the whole romance. And you own him, Yamane. I’ll be looking for more from this author.
By this time I think there had been enough angst and tension so the extra was just overload, although I did like the epilogue. If you pick one per one all the books she wrote in less than a year, and try to compare them, it’s almost like they are written by different authors. So when he meets Rory he’s understandably wary, but resigned.
Daniel has never fit in – not at home in Philadelphia with his auto mechanic father and brothers, and not at school where his Ivy League classmates looked down on him. I really enjoyed this audio book. The usual suspects were there, the good, the bad and the players on the side line togther but as I said z.a.maxfie,d — the plot would not work without this level of predictability.
Not that coming out wouldn’t solve a couple of problems. Does he admire Yamane the person or Yamane the artist? Is more than good
