This, however, should have proved unnecessary had the book itself been designed smallerperhaps to resemble an “authentic” religious text, and not a reprint collection of newspaper comic strips.
The humor and satire wasn’t subtle at all; it was so apparent what he was trying to do, but he didn’t pull it off.
