Aric S. Queen is a published author, former radio host, television personality and one of National Geographic’s “Travelers”, as well as the host of “Treasure Hunters” on the BBC. His 2010 novel “The Shanghai [Exile] Diaries” chronicled his clash with the Chinese government, his eviction from the country and 6 months in hiding around Southeast Asia and India. He was recently named one of the “World’s Best Travel Photographers” in 2015, and is currently in the Bahamas attempting a solo-circumnavigation on his 31′ sailboat – the first season of which can be seen on Lonely Planet. He is also the host of the podcast “Journey Cakes”, available on iTunes in October of 2016. Big fan of hats, snacks and being an uncle of almost-three.
